No Mow May

My lawn can’t be mown until June 9 so the grass will be long but it should be gratifying to see what else has come through.  I say grass, it’s mostly moss and sorrel. Amazed how many buttercups burst through in patches.  So uplifting.    It’s great to see a tipping point of awareness for habitat, one of the benefits of lockdown although a long long way to go to any kind of rebalance.   

Gorgeous weather, I stopped work early, went to Haslemere and had a pedicure.
