View behind the blinds

The view from the office windows, which is obstructed by blinds that shield the workstations from glare, shows a little of the areas history, to the right a spoil heap belonging to one of the many closed collieries, and on the skyline to the left Mow Cop a folly on who's slopes a number of the early methodists plied their trade threatening the local populace with fire and brimstone if they did not mend their ways.
