Best friends

Busy old day again. Had a lovely long sleep - 8 hours plus which is very unlike me. Had breakfast, showered and dressed (in shorts and vest top no less) and took Phin round the stream. Home to make a shopping list before Miss PHL and I headed to the supermarket. She wanted to check out the gluten free ranges and we were both pleasantly surprised at the variety, less so with the prices.

As it was so warm we decided on a BBQ and I invited my friend and her puppy to join us. Quickly ran the hoover over the house whilst Mr PHL sorted the BBQ out and cut the grass. We then headed off to meet our dog trainer who gave us some more tips for loose lease walking but overall was pretty pleased with Phin’s progress. He doesn’t think we need to see him again which is quite reassuring.

Dropped Mr PHL and Phin at the house and headed off to collect Susan and Scoobie. Lovely evening to sit out and we only headed in at 8.30. Nice chat over a couple of glasses of fizz before Mr PHL took them home. Phin and Scoobie had a great time and finally crashed just before 10, almost but not quite cuddled up together.

Took Phin round the stream again for his last walk and he was very interested in the not so wee hedgehog we spotted.

Managed to blip these cute daisies earlier in the day - I love their cheerful yellow centres.
