DAY 2 ....2 MORE BEACHES

After a fun evening last night (introducing M’s mum to Friday Night Dinner. She loved it even with her minimal English !!!)The Rev and I walked through
#the very empty streets to the cathedral
#....for a service in the crypt.
We returned to chef O’s smoked salmon and scrambled egg breakfast then we all walked back into Canterbury.
M and the Rev went into the Cathedral and we all did a bit of shopping. It wasn’t busy at first but then started to get crowded as we were leaving.
#we headed to Broadstairs....such a fabulous day...it was a scorcher.
#The Rev was king of his new beach tent :))
We could have stayed for longer but more touring to do so 3 hours were the limit :))
# we drove passed Kingsgate beach (never heard of it!!) and Margate.
#we stopped at our 5th and final beach...Whitstable. It was quite lively and full of happy people but ..
#getting a coffee was a serious mission!!!
Then home by 8:30....what a fabulous 2 day break.
