Flaming June

While Dad was at his audiology clinic, I went for a walk by the sea at Eastbourne.

The town was busy but down at the beach there was plenty of space for everyone and lots of invigorating sea air. I went to the end of the pier (I love piers!) and then walked along the front towards Beachy Head. There are several little shelters along the way and I sat in one and waited for people to go past to make an interesting photo.

I cooked again for us all this evening, a (vegan) sausage casserole with butternut squash, spinach and cumin.

Dad has to wait another month for his new hearing aids. It's not easy for him or for us :-(
