Great crested grebe

After work i did a bike tour to the Riemer See and found lots to photograph - this great crested grebe, , lots of frogs and a coot family ... and a Little Drama ... did bike up a hill from where you have a beautiful view... while going down I heard someone crying and calling „mum“ ... a girl - maybe 8 years was searching for her mum... she lost her on the bike Tour. I asked her if she has a mobile phone then she could call her mum... no phone - I asked her for her mum’s phone no as had my mobile phone with me ... she didn’t know the number ... sa asked her where she lives ... she told me a villages name 3 kms away ... so i told her that we both bike home to her - maybe neighbor is home and has phone no of mum ... said - done ... found a neighbor who knew a neighbor who had mums tel no ... i waited until exhausted mum came with red face ... many thanks later and a bottle of Self made rhubarb juice in my basket and a Glas of Marmelade i biked Home .... happy reunited :)))
