Grey Heron
I was really pleased to see the young one today, however I was slightly nervous for her. When I first saw her she was standing beside the two swans and their cygnets who were being fed bread. They were ignoring the young one however. They may have felt as she was young she was no threat or they may have just arrived. She however was not making any attempt to eat it the bread. I gave her some pollock and slowly walked her away from the swans. She ate all the pollock I gave her then to my relief flew over to a branch of a dead tree further into the loch.
