After the Storm

Beginning at 6am, today has basically been tortuous. I should have flown to Paris at 12.45pm. After the snow, the trains were cancelled so I set out by car to Heathrow. 10 miles out of Brighton I encountered the bit they forgot to salt, grit or snowplough. Back to Brighton, on to a train to St. Pancras for the Eurostar. Which was cancelled within five minutes of me arriving at St. Pancras. Back to Brighton, to resume the battle tomorrow. This sunset made it all worthwhile.
