A day for keeping cool

Very warm this morning but with a significant cloud cover so no danger of being blinded by the sun.

First job this morning was to head up to the retail park for petrol as the gauge was dropping quite rapidly or so it seemed.
Not far from there to the Heritage Park for a quick check on the geese and swans.

Then it was off to collect Poppy for our weekly walk in the park. There was no holding her back as we neared the wee slipway into the river ..... a very popular spot for the dogs who love the water.

Too hot to sit outside this afternoon so I settled back to watch some of the French Open tennis.
