Morning walk

Went for a morning walk before it got too hot.
I had to return a parcel that I ordered & they sent the wrong thing, also to post 2 birthday cards.
Afterwards I took Smoochi for a walk while it was fairly cool, the sun was warm & there was a gentle cool breeze.
The birds were flying about & landing on the Cow Parsley; it's amazing that the birds are able to perch on such tiny stems.
It's my dear friend Lesley's 65th birthday today & I miss her, sad that she didn't get to meet her granddaughter who was born in January 2021; she's a real poppet.
