Munch

Early start to the day and lots of meetings but with a visit from CC at lunchtime whilst she was visiting from Durham....chance for a nice catch up chat and chalking up another reaction to news.
At the end of the day had a secret squirrel meeting to plan farewell activities for V. Like all the other events this last year we can’t rely on the usual formats so are having to be inventive, and luckily there were lots of good ideas so I feel less worried about it now although it will still be horrid to see her go.
The haar had cleared to a beautiful sunny day although with a bit of a chilly breeze...C’s had had a fabulous day on the beach and were all a bit pink by the time they got home. Some of them had burgers (only photo I took today!), the rest of us had salmon etc that I made (minus the disastrous hollandaise sauce), and we looked at old photos and videos and chatted til very late.
