Goodness it was cold today. I think the temperature just about achieved 13º, but the wind had a real chill to it. Consequently the beach was deserted and there were quite a few parking spaces along the boulevard despite it being a public holiday. At least I assume it was a public holiday.

I should have been sensible and used the car to head inland to where the weather may have been warmer. I guess it is back to winter clothing for June! We had our one day of summer yesterday.
