Horse Play
We had a bit of a lazy start to the day, after our late night last night, but after breakfast we went to the Conwy RSPB Nature Reserve which I blipped from a distance last week. It's a really lovely place and as a result we've taken out a family membership, so we can now go as often as we want and it's only 10 minutes from home.
Whilst I expected to be blipping birds today, we were surprised to see the Carneddau Mountain Ponies that graze there and we learnt that this little baby was born about 4 weeks ago. The Carneddau mountain range is in Snowdonia and the history of these ponies, which are slightly smaller than the usual Welsh Mountain Ponies apparently dates back to the bronze age. I've added some extras of them playing :-)
After our walk, we drove into Llandudno to get some more paint and then Alan has worked hard on wallpapering the living room wall which is looking good!
