Sunny Bank Holiday

Today, the weather was glorious, and this afternoon the temperature rose to  25C. Before that, my Mother and I were busy planting up more seedlings and washing her bed  linen. I changed her duvet for the summer one, having realised she still had the 10.5 tog duvet on her bed! 
Peter tortoise was on the rampage again. My aunt came for tea, bringing with her a big bag of buttercups for Peter,  and  cake for us, so a popular visitor all round. 
The first roses are appearing; this is a beautifully scented climbing rose, but its name has long since been forgotten.
