Rowan

We decided on a particular walk this morning, but no parking was left and in any event it all looked far too busy. It is after all bank holiday Monday and the weather was forecast to be (and has been) glorious.

So we reverted back to nearby Gait Barrows, which was much quieter.

The stunted trees and bushes growing from the grykes are difficult to capture well, but I liked this rowan/mountain ash.
