Enough is Enough!

As much as I love Jackdaws, 13 in our small garden is too many, especially when you add a couple of Magpies into the mix, which results in pitched battles. The little birds don't stand a chance. I think they are after food for their young, as we don't usually get more than one or two. All the food that went out today was protected by cages so that only the smaller birds can get in. The Jackdaws arrived as usual but couldn't figure out how to get at the food. You could hear their little brains whirring faced with this challenge before they departed, disappointed.
