Ready to deliver to the young in the nest, this Greater Spotted Woodpecker was patiently waiting for us to leave.

A great blipmeet with HilarysView and Alijay at a nature reserve in the valley. Not as many frogs around as we hoped but I think we all managed to get a photo (see extras). Two of us arrived on ebike and it felt like a long pull back up the mountain afterwards as were still recovering from the second COVID jab. So nice to catch up and enjoy the sunshine.
