AJ came to lunch :)

Glorious bank holiday Monday - also our mum in heavens birthday, she would have been 86 today. We had arranged to have AJ over for lunch, the first time she has been out to see friends since lockdown. :)

Visited the care home early as I had to have a LFT (lateral flow test) prior to me taking her out (I’m being LFT’d out as did my twice weekly one yesterday!). Negative result. AJ appeared with a large bruise and break to skin on her head - self inflicted she reports, hit her head with her walking stick! Back to our house, collecting my sister on the way - a glass of sherry lifted from each of us to wish mum happy birthday (AJ’s sister). :)

Lovely lunch and time spent in the garden, trying to follow the shade. Lovely visit from our son and daughter-in-law (still making 6 of us in the garden, so meeting criteria). :)

AJ back in time for tea, happy lady who had a lovely time. Looking forward to the next trip out :)

Mono challenge today is "contains a silent letter." - my options are TALK, SUCUMB (to the shade) :)
