When The Levee Breaks
Back on the DSLR this week, my image is Spectacle E'e Falls in Sandford, Lanarkshire. This morning France closed its borders to people from the UK, no complaints here, even though we have holidays booked in Paris and Marseille carried over from last year, has the penny dropped yet.
Listened to "The Beatles Live at the BBC" this week. It reminded me of the fun, enjoyment and achievement trying to learn songs on the guitar back in the day. Instead of spending hours lifting the stylus on and off the record trying to work out chords, riffs and solos, nowadays you just go to YouTube, like a lot of things in life, this is deemed progress allegedly.
In other news, some call it a wedding, some a non-disclosure agreement.
And in the end, this week in 1969 saw The Beatles release "The Ballad of John and Yoko", their first single in Britain and Europe to be released in stereo.
