White (and black)
White is my subject for Laurie's 'silent letter' challenge - today's MonoMonday - though of course it has to include black as well ;))
On this fabulously sunny day I had meant to go out for a long walk to look for whiteness, but in the end decided a) it might get too hot (it did) and b) I wanted to give priority to finishing a section of the garden. In the end it was a bit hot for too much of that as well, so the day was partially wasted, but then what's wrong with a lazy Bank Holiday?
Luckily K's back into painting right now and has just taken delivery of an enormous tube of Winsor & Newton's Professional Acrylic 'Titanium White', so I pinched it, together with a brush, and got to work.
And in other news - this morning Hazel managed to take advantage of an open door and escape. This has never happened before. A very kind dog-friendly neighbour saw her and told her to go home, which she did. The first we knew of it was H wagging her tail and barking to be let in. Oh naughty Hazel. And stupid me, who's fault we think it was ;((
Very many thanks to Laurie54 for hosting this month's MonoMonday and giving us such fab subjects.
And Happy Monday evening/Tuesday morning to you all xx
