Still Raining

Hopefully the rain will stop this evening. We have been very lucky in Christchurch because the expected rain fall didn't happen. Over the past three days it has been around 100ml. Some places have had around 400ml or more.

The road to Akaroa has been closed today because of the flooding and slips. Akaroa's township has a lot off flooding with roads under water. I should be Ok up on the hill.. the only worry is a slip but hopefully that will not happen. Akaroa has had 220ml of rain in the past couple of days.
