Farewell, day

I'm doing another deal with Fate. After last year's blight I was going to give tomatoes a miss this year but I keep finding them popping up in pots and trays. I can't bring myself to throw them away so today I have planted them out in the bit of the garden that I am keeping clear for the builders. So either the building work starts within the next ten weeks or I get tomatoes. (Or blight.)

A gorgeous day to be outside. It was our monthly online family meal this evening and I was even outside for that. This was afterwards. I love the long evenings.
