Reward in the Rain

Sigh. Double sigh. The STUPID Dog (Not) Oasis waited at the end of our drive today. I knew. I always know. Who invented the place, I wonder? Ninety minutes of misery for me, while mum met up with my kennel mum and dad and my poodle sister and mother, Nora and Alva. Does that sound fair? 

The only good thing was that mum hadn’t eaten her cardamom bun, and since it was raining, we didn’t stop for ice cream but sat in the car and shared the cardamom bun before we headed home. 

I wonder if I can put fewer visits to the DNO on my Christmas wish list?
