Gone fishin’

We took a trip to South Queensferry this afternoon. Maybe not the best choice of destination to catch more sunshine, with the line of haar along the Forth hiding the north end of the bridge at times. However, it wasn’t too bad and we enjoyed our walk along the Shore Road - birds singing, scented bluebells, the sound of the waves lapping the shore and trees ever more verdant. Of course, it did seem a bit sunnier when we got back into Edinburgh this evening.
