So today we wandered through Wanstead Park, with scooter. Matt & Ollie were racing ahead .....
Wanstead Park was once a sculpted landscape surrounding the great Wanstead House, often compared to Blenheim Palace. Apparently, trees include a 346-year-old oak, a 300-year-old wych elm and a 480-year-old yew. And the park is also home to a whole load of parakeets. And there’s a great no-nonsense cafe.
