Cold start to life

This weather is horrible. We lamb late purposefully so as to be able to lamb outside. But this year it is so so wet and cold we've made a outdoor pen to keep the ewes in for dryness and warmth. Only problem is with them in close confines we need to get to them quickly after delivery and put them ewes and lambs in pens ir you risk the lambs getting muddled up. This doesn't happen much in the 14 acre field they were in.
This morning I had some help from a couple of friends who enjoyed their first taste of lambing. In this pic we were waiting for back up from our shepherd as the lamb was presenting badly with front legs out and head twisted back.
