Enjoying the holidays

Another quiet at home getting things done day! Not got my car back yet either! :( BUT I did hear from the garage and they are still waiting on a part, so hopefully by the end of the week!

I think the Indian schools are on holiday as these kids have been playing cricket all the morning! They seem quite well organise and take their game very serious! Thankfully, our windows, although not double-glazed, do keep out most of the noise.

Caught up with the news and can't believe how much coverage BBC World are giving to the election of the new Pope! Who would have thought it? The snow in England made for more interesting pictures! ;)

Thank you very much for very kind comments for yesterday's blip of my mum. I should have mentioned in my journal that for most of my years growing up, I was told I was adopted, but the sharp eyed among you have spotted a family resemblance. I did of course in my teen years figure out I wasn't adopted as my sister (SweetArt469) and me have the same voice - so much so it confuses people. It didn't help callers one bit when I took over her receptionist job and started asking who was calling! They couldn't believe that overnight, she couldn't recognise their voice anymore. Ace!
