So much rain overnight.
Went for a quick drive around the valley this morning, very wet everywhere.

Rain has got heavier this afternoon, flooding in parts of the city, but worse south of Christchurch where big rivers are flooding and people are evacuating homes.

Ella has arrived back home safely. I’ve been in a real state of anxiety about them driving all that way in these conditions. Dave told me I over reacted but I call it mothers love.
