Summer at last
St Ives is all about the river. In a normal year it’s normally bustling with boats from Easter onwards but, I guess because of the cold and wet weather, they’ve only just started to emerge.
I love this view of the quay. No matter the time of year there’s always something to stop and look at - changing light, colours, activity. It’s a focal point of the town, even more so now the cafes are open. Today was such a treat to stand in the warm sunshine and just watch for a while.
These boaters glided under the little bridge and out towards the meadow, hence the extra.
Thanks so much for all the recent comments, stars and hearts. Happy bank holiday!
