Friday

My day started with a walk along the river in the sunshine listening to a podcast.  Back home for breakfast in the garden before OH headed up to London for farewell lunch with colleagues.  I popped over to LC with cuttings and enjoyed sitting in the sunshine and catching up with Lala.  I also met up with other colleagues and heard about changes and people leaving and day to day dramas which all sounded familiar but this time, I can listen but know that I don’t have to do anything.........

Home for a couple of hours in the garden pottering and waiting for a phone call to collect OH from the station...... which came at 10.30 including a detour to take ex colleague home.  Clearly a great lunch!!
