A violin of his own!

Will got his very own violin this morning. We had a full sized violin from a cousin but his teacher stated that that was for beginners and he needed something better. (We will be fixing that one up and selling it to help fund this and so that the cousin's wishes are still wrapped up in his violin.)

It was like going to Ollivanders. The process was really interesting and the violin definitely picked Will and then it also picked the bow. It sounds lovely, which is good because hopefully we will be hearing it for years to come. He was most excited about the case though because it has a combination lock! Small things!

Will also got his first phone today, in line with Carys getting hers the half term holiday before the end of year six. So far so good, but the number of questions about it may do my head in soon.
