Roadmap Out Of Lockdown Step 3 - Day 13

Jam and Clotted Cream, Cornish style - about as close as I’m likely to get to Cornwall!

My grand plans for this Bank Holiday Weekend never materialised so this afternoon, determined to make the weekend slightly more interesting than any other weekend, invited two neighbours round for a cream tea in the garden. Sunny on and off, and 21 on the patio thermometer, though the weatherman said only 18. 

In other news, a long chat with the vet (Toff’s appetite is now picking up so a new meds plan has been hatched), and a five and a half hour wait for the RAC (to jumpstart a flat battery). Though even after that long wait, instead of an engineer turning up, I had a phone call to say there would be another three hours wait (due to a very busy Bank Hols), so have arranged for the RAC to come Monday instead. Just as well I had no plans to go anywhere!
