Ticking over

My head cold acquired added oomph in the night and I slept badly, coughing and spluttering. Eben, fortunately, slept through till nearly 7 - no complaints on that score.

So this morning I was hoarse and not very on the ball. Ruth and Josh came round to drop Luca off and take Eben to Magna - a local science/engineering museum that he loves. We'd agreed to do the swop so that Eben could have his mum and dad to himself for a bit.

Luca had been up early, so he was quite happy to spend a bit of time in the park with us and then have a nap. Here he is with Richard. Ruth and Josh were back to collect him just after lunch.

Then I slept all afternoon... a rare treat and hopefully a step towards getting rid of the head cold.
