Met a friend halfway

She lives in London, I in Bristol. We met at Goring and spent a lovely day walking and picnicking by the Thames in Oxfordshire. Saw masses of red kites.  No sun, but nevertheless very beautiful.  The only thing that wasn’t good was the train - my first time for over a year.  I had thought they had only some seats in use - but they were all full - and some people didn’t have masks on,  so i didn’t feel comfortable.
