Black Swans & Daisy Chains, Aylesford

After a week of speculation and Microsoft teams meetings the work situation hasn't really resolved itself fully but we are still "going live" with the new way of working on Tuesday. It's going to be bumpy, and has been mentally stressful, but I've decided it's not worth me getting in a state about. I'll just do my job to the very best of my ability and that's all I can do.
Today we decided to have a meal inside our local pub for the first time in well over six months and it was just so enjoyable and relaxing, particularly after the exhausting work week. The food was great, the beer was great and the service was charming. We couldn't have asked for much more.
Today's image was taken at the Friars in the village which has a small pond on which these stunning black swans drifted elegantly. Along it's edges the daises had formed in a delicate sea of dazzling white and yellow - it was such a beautiful sight, especially when the sun appeared.
A good day, with great company and still the Champions League Final to come!
