First there was one ........

....... and the there were two young calves who were quite happy for me to pick the grass for them. Rather too many nettles around for my liking but I did manage to find a few handfuls of grass.

They were even happy to let me give their heads a wee scratch and in the case of the light coloured calves I could feel their wee horns beginning to grow. The horns on the dark calf are already visible.

The photos are not the best quality......I could have done with three hands ...... one for the grass and two for adjusting the camera.
