Stewart Island on a wet day

Another great day in Stewart Island. We hired a van for the day and went around the 27 kms of road on the island stopping ever so often to photograph the bleak scenery. It rained off and on all day but it didn’t deter our enjoyment. Left at 9am and back at 4pm.
Have had blue cod and chips for dinner and now off out to see if we can spot some kiwis. NZ ,s nocturnal birds.
