Another shadow shot

Strong low Scandinavian spring sun calls for contrasty shadow images. (Does this sentence even make sense?)I had a hard time choosing today, which is a good thing, I suppose.

I've started to read a new book by an author called Jared Diamond. It is about how earlier civilizations, due to mismanagement of their resources, collapsed. The Aztecs, the Mayans, The Vikings etc. Also it draws parallels to our own time and how we are destroying ourselves, despite our knowledge, technologically and scientifically, and enlightenment. Really, in my opinion, we have no excuse when the day comes. Our sick consumer habits are ruining our ressources and our demise is inevitable..
