When I got up this morning there were some very interesting cloud shapes to the east and the morning was fairly sunny and warm.  In mid afternoon it turned misty and now the nearby tree in the photo is invisible in the thick fog.  One problem with living near the North Sea is when there is an area of high pressure with warm sunshine over much of the country, the thick haar (sea fog) often rolls in lowering the temperature considerably.  Within an hour this afternoon it fell from 16C to 12.5C in the garden.
