At last!

The Smugglers Table is open! The lockdown restrictions are being eased, and from last Monday hospitality was allowed to open, the Smugglers opens from Thursday to Sunday, so yesterday was their first day. It was N's birthday last Sunday before the restrictions were eased, so we decided that we would go out for dinner tonight, we booked early - and it was fabulous! Roy, the chef, is brilliant, he's very talented and creative. I had monkfish with mussels, celeriac puree and lemon fondant potatoes, and it really was my lucky day - my favourite dessert was on the menu, chocolate fondant - the diet starts again tomorrow :-)
