Spruce flowers

Three more heifers out today. It went well, although I was a bit afraid of one that behaved somewhat erratically when approached indoors. Actually she jumped on my boot behind the safety toecap... Ouch!

The ground is very soft after 88 millimetres of rain in 11 days, but today was a nice day and forecast looks good now. It will take a few days before the fields will be dry enough though, and that means that over 80% of seeding will done in June!
