Some days in the New Forest - Day 1

We broke loose for four days this week and headed for the New Forest, staying in a hotel just outside Lymington, which was lovely.

Having checked in we headed for Lymington itself and headed for the Marina, where we were rather curious about what a Kill Cord is - apparently some safetyl device.

We watched the lifeboat going out on an exercise and admired a very fine black headed gull - looked more brown to me, but there you go.

A lovely first day!
