Arum lily

Today I went to the Art Gallery of NSW and attended a lecture, 'When Art and Fashion Collide', focusing on 1980s fashion. Fascinating, with a lot more to this topic than I could have imagined. Nothing like listening to a true scholar, in this case Peter McNeil, whose style is amusing and accessible. In addition to many photographs, he broke the lecture up with videos, including Madonna Vogue, starring Madonna the pop star.

The lecture was followed by lunch at fabulous restaurant Chiswick, which was followed by going home for a lie down and not waking up until after dark. To get a flower for today's Blip I had to go into the garden and cut an arum lily.
