2021 Tuesday — Lunch with Friends

Jack and his son Zac came to Cayucos to have lunch and walk on the beach with us. They are staying in a timeshare slightly south of here in the city of Avila Beach.

We ate at Schooners which is one of the few restaurants in Cayucos that has a view of the beach and pier. After lunch we walked the shoreline and the guys played Frisbee.

It was a good day, but during the evening I started feeling quite ill so we headed into San Luis Obispo to the ER at French Park. After several tests and a sonogram, the doctor was puzzled by the results. There is no evidence of a gall stone, but one can be hiding. So they sent me home on meds and told me to come back if the pain increased and to head to my medical providers when we get to SoCal.
