A snake in the grass

This fellow was waiting for me when I was down at the end of a row of coffee getting rid of an infestation of thistles. He/she (sexing snakes is not my speciality) was asleep so didn’t disturb. It’s a green tree snake...though not very green...also known in this area as a yellow bellied black snake. Not venomous!
