Auld Kirk Museum
The Auld Kirk Museum was originally a church but after being replaced is now a small museum. The Auld Kirk is beside the entrance to Peel Park in which a Roman fort on the Antonine Wall was located. A castle belonging to the Comyn family was built there in early mediaeval times but was destroyed around the 14th century. The extra blips show the steps leading to the museum and the memorial beside them. My blip of 6th May shows the War Memorial gateway to Peel Park
