Backblipped 26.05.21

It's been ten months since we last did this.  And I could copy and paste with write up from that day to here and it would need hardly any changes! lol

Ele and Kenny arrived for lunch then afterwards Kenny and D headed off to play golf.  Ele and I settled down for a mega catch up.  It was sooooo good to be able to relax and chat and laugh and make plans (ever optimistic) for future get togethers.  And of course Lola was over the moon to have Ele fussing over her.

The guys returned from golf.  David happy because he'd played well.  Kenny less happy because he'd played, and I quote, "sh*te!"  :-))

I made sticky soy and honey roasted salmon with asparagus and sugar snap peas for dinner.  I'd prepared it this morning before they arrived so it just had to be put in the oven and the noodles warmed.  Easy peasy and absolutely delicious.  Apple crumble and custard for dessert.  

Kenny quipped "see you in March" as they left!!!  Gulp!  Not funny!  I really hope we can continue on this slow route back to full freedom.  The thought of returning to lockdown because of this Indian variant doesn't bear thinking about.
