Day out in London

My first trip up to London with a couple of friends since Lockdown eased. We walked from Waterloo via St James Park ( See extra of the pelican on the lake there) to the Queens Gallery to the exhibition there. It has many great paintings from the Queens collection and well worth a visit...including Rembrandts, Rubens, Canalettos etc. Then we had a lovely lunch at the Goring Hotel which I’ve never been to before. It was a Travelzoo deal and good value as the food was excellent and service exemplary. An ‘old school’ dining room and so good I may well go back. All the staff were excellent. So a lovely day out in the sun!
London still not crowded, this is the time to go as the usual foreign tourists are just not there. Only a very small queue to get on the London Eye ( in the blip) .usually it is very long,
