Patterns on the beach

We decided to have an early evening picnic on the beach at Mawbray ( between Allonby and Silloth ).

The patterns at low tide just had to be blipped!

A lovely warm evening, although the wind was trying to get up.

As we ate our picnic we were looking across the Solway Firth to Dumfries ( Scotland ).
