A manky old tennis ball

Went to the park and found a manky old tennis ball. I carried it all the way home and put it into my toy basket with all my other manky old tennis balls. I've got quite a collection now. Yay!

Had to stay 'home alone' this afternoon while Ann went off 'Meet & Greeting'. She loves her job, especially on days like today when all the visitors were early so she didn't have to hang around waiting for them. She left home at about 2pm and said she'd be home at around 6.30pm. She said it would be good for me to spend a decent amount of time by myself. But guess what?............... she arrived home at 4.30pm. I was still fast asleep.

Ann's really, really glad that she got me the year before lock down because she had a whole year to train and socialise me and turn me into the perfect pooch that I am today. And much as she has absolutely hated lock down; she thinks that it has actually strengthened our bond because we have been together so much. It must be so hard for people who got puppies during lock down and haven't been able to socialise them properly.

Oh and if anyone is interested.......................... it hasn't rained today. And it's been quite warm. We could still do with Mr Sunshine putting in an appearance though.

Tomorrow Ann is going out for lunch with four friends. Five single middle aged women (OK, one is married) who due to the Scottish 'three household indoors rule', are going to have to sit outside for lunch and the weather forecast is showing rain AGAIN. If England can allow six people from six different households indoors, why can't Scotland? They've all had both vaccines. And they're only allowed the table for two hours so it doesn't look like I'll be left 'home alone' for long. Oh well, ho hum, it is what it is I suppose. Perhaps our weather app will have changed by tomorrow??!!!
